![]() ![]() The Limited Editions Club was started in 1929 by George Macy as a way to make and sell beautifully crafted bound books illustrated and signed by some of the best in the day. Overall, the slipcase is Very Good Plus to Near Mint as well.īe sure to see the other Limited Editions Club books in my shop! The slipcase shows some very light wear from age. There is a mark on the colophon above the number. The book is in Near Mint condition looks almost unopened. This book is from their 32nd series in 1964. ![]() The book is 11”x8”x1.5” and is 285 numbered pages. This edition looks beautiful both in and out of the slipcase. The slipcase is covered in tan paper and has a paper label. The boards are covered in bound buckram with a gilt illustration on the cover. This book is #1488 of 1500 copies and is signed by illustrator Charles Mozley on the colophon. This book has an introduction by Evelyn Waugh and the illustrations are done by Charles Mozley. This book was also published under the title The Forsyte Saga. ![]() This is a fantastic copy of the 1964 Limited Editions Club release of The Man of Property by John Galsworthy. ![]()
